Ira Treuhaft began his career as a political consultant, leading him to form the Treu Group. He formerly ran political campaigns in New Jersey, Ohio and New York. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2002 where he was an intern for the Honorable Marvin J. Garbus and former majority leader Eric I. Cantor. He currently teaches at Fairleigh Dickinson University and focuses on bankruptcy and matrimonial law in his law practice.
