Overview
Kevin is a past-president of the Nassau Criminal Courts Bar Association.
He is a trial lawyer who has handled thousands and tried hundreds of cases including dozens of jury trials throughout both the federal and state courts in New York.
His law practice is focussed in Nassau and Suffolk counties and the five boroughs of the city of New York.
After graduating St. John's University School of Law in 1985, Kevin joined the Nassau District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney where he prosecuted major felonies and was the Chief of the Mental Health and Hygiene Unit ensuring the institutional security of the criminally insane.
After leaving the DA's Office, Kevin defended shareholders and ratepayers as in-house counsel to Con Edison, handling gas explosion, electrocution and other cases.
Kevin entered private practice in 1989 where he remains today.
He is a member of the Major Felony Panel (eligible to defend murder cases) of the Nassau Assigned Counsel Defender Plan.
He is an attorney in good standing in every jurisdiction in which he is admitted to practice.
He is admitted to practice in all of the courts in the State of New York as well as in the federal and appellate courts in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, including the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
