Overview
Ryan Bolick is a partner in both the firm's Employment/Public Entity Practice Group and the Professional Malpractice Defense Group in the Charlotte office.
Serving as lead counsel, Ryan has litigated numerous cases to favorable jury verdicts in Western North Carolina. His experience includes the defense of North Carolina public entities and public officials against a myriad of claims ranging from constitutional challenges of ordinances to claims for wrongful termination and other statutory and common law torts.
Ryan defends employers in federal and state litigation against claims of wrongful termination, retaliation, and alleged violations of Title VII, ADA, ADEA and REDA. He also has been successful in obtaining favorable results for clients in administrative hearings before the Equal Employment Security Commission and the Department of Labor. In addition, Ryan has substantial experience in presenting oral arguments before the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
Ryan also defends attorneys, real estate professionals, and dentists against claims of professional negligence.
