Overview
Kate is originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. During her time at UNCW, she was an active member of Chi Omega and served on the Panhellenic Judicial Board. She also served as a Board Member on the Student Honor and Conduct Board and studied abroad in Germany in 2019 to complete her language requirement.
Kate went on to attend Campbell University School of Law, where she was involved in the Student Bar Association, Women in Law, and the Campbell Law Innocence Project. She also mentored first-year law students and participated in the Gailor Family Law Litigation Clinic in 2024. She received the Book Award for Family Law in Fall 2023 and passed the North Carolina Bar Exam in July 2025.
In her free time, Kate enjoys rhinestoning, making friendship bracelets, practicing hot yoga, and listening to music.
