Overview
Attorney Bailey Melvin founded our Greenville law office, The Melvin Law Firm, with the goal of focusing exclusively on providing representation to North Carolina residents whose lives have changed due to the negligence of medical professionals and facilities. Today, after a legal career spanning more than 20 years, both victims and families from across the state know to turn to our law firm for representation in medical malpractice cases stemming from a wide range of causes, including the following:

Mr. Melvin began his legal career in 1992 after earning his law degree from University of North Carolina School of Law and his admission to the North Carolina State Bar. In addition to his approval to practice law in all of North Carolina's state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina has also issued its approval for him to practice in its courtrooms, ensuring he can represent clients at both state and federal levels.
