    Recommends this Law firm
Paul did a professional job with a personal touch helping me maneuver getting a mandatory piece of evidence in my car accident case. His vast knowledge from his extensive background, and his caring nature, made the situation less stressful to handle. I would highly recommend Paul if you ever have the need for a vehicle accident attorney. He will get the job done. Thanks so much Paul!

People do yourself a favor, DON'T choose this law firm. I chose them to represent me in an accident case, which was cut and dry on I -40. I was hit while stopped in traffic and my car was totaled, not to mention all my medical bills with pain and suffering. After 2 and a half months I had gotten nothing and was told they couldn't not help me. DONE NOTHING!! After talking with one of their attorneys in the early stages I new I was talking to an IDIOT whom had no clue. I should have torn the contract up then. Save yourself the trouble that I am going thru, DON'T CONTACT THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY TYPE OF REPRESENTATION!!!

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
