I had the pleasure of meeting CJ Graves back when I was going through my divorce in 2014 when I was with Govertz and Manash and I was the parent that was home with the kids who were 6, 9. & 11 with the other parent leaving the family, but since I was the male she automatically assumed that she would get the kids! Well we had most everything working in my favor and CJ Graves decided to leave the firm and branch out on his own!! Well it was all about the law firm right!! We I realized that it was all about who was on the case and soon with me getting full custody of all three of my kids, the house, my car and the van, we had to sale the 26ft Sea Ray Cabin cruiser and split it! She couldn't claim nery kid for taxes and couldn't sign nothing either and had to pay me child support! All this is thanks to CJ Graves cause when I had the option to stay with the firm, I decided to stay with the person that was already doing all the work and sure nough CJ Graves took care of business! Of my three kids I got custody of, the oldest was sponsored by Riedell Skates for jam skating, the middle one was accepted to OSU for Robotics technology and engineering and all this with NO college loans just all grants and scholarships! The youngest has an adult blue belt in Jujitsu at age 14 and she now is a coach for the little ninjas and is a National medal winner for Jr Roller Derby for the last two years running! Thank you CJ Graves for all the work you put in to help me keep my family and as you see I told you what I was about in being a good parent and now you can see for yourself! We went to CJ regarding an employment matter with my husband's former employer. We found CJ to be very honest and straightforward regarding our concerns. He was very attentive and made certain he had the complete picture before offering his advice and suggestions. While he felt one part of our claim was valid and worth pursuing, he advised the second portion of our claim would likely not work out to our satisfaction. We greatly appreciated his honesty, as other attorneys might have been inclined to encourage us to pursue both, even knowing one would be a waste of our time and funds, so they could charge more. As of now, we intend to pursue legal action in the first half of 2017. We would strongly recommend CJ to anybody who has employment matters they need an attorney to resolve, and have recommended his firm to several friends and family to help resolve legal issues.

I called Graves Swanson for a consultation regarding representing me in a civil matter. They made it clear to me that they would not be able to adequately represent me in the civil matter, so I ended the consultation and hung up the phone. They then sent me a very formal letter explaining to me that they were "declining to represent me." It is I who chose not to hire Graves Swanson, not Graves Swanson who refused to represent me. The fact that they would take the time to send me a formal letter to make the situation seem different from objective reality is astounding to me. I would give this firm zero stars if I could.
