Patricia Haas Corll - Camp Hill, PA

Patricia Haas Corll is an associate attorney in the litigation department of Chartwell’s Harrisburg office where she practices in professional liability defense, personal injury defense and Worker’s Compensation defense. Immediately prior to becoming affiliated with Chartwell, Mrs. Corll was affiliated with the Harrisburg office of Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires and Newby were she practiced litigation with a concentration in medical malpractice defense and Workers’ Compensation defense.

Mrs. Corll graduated from the evening division section of Duquesne University’s School of Law in 1990, and maintained an active litigation career in western Pennsylvania, prior to moving to central Pennsylvania in 2000. While practicing in Pittsburgh, Mrs. Corll concentrated her practice in professional liability defense, encompassing medical malpractice trial work and attorney malpractice work. She is noted for having one of the fastest defense verdicts in Allegheny County in a medical malpractice case involving allegations of improper gynecological care (less than fifteen minutes, and they ate lunch!). She was also responsible for the successful representation of a trial attorney in a high profile legal malpractice case stemming from disputed ownership of an 8 million dollar lottery ticket.

Mrs. Corll has tried cases in numerous counties in western Pennsylvania, and has litigated in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She has also argued cases before the Superior and Commonwealth Court.
