Family lawyer Shari R. Gelfont Williams represents clients in the greater Philadelphia area. Her family law experience includes divorce, child support, alimony, custody, equitable distribution, adoption, and marital agreements.

Williams is an experienced Protection from Abuse/PFA attorney, coordinating a Domestic Violence Legal Representation Program in Charlotte, North Carolina. She also participated in the Bucks County Pro Bono PFA representation program. Williams also practiced as a Bucks County Assistant District Attorney.

The Bucks County Bar Association recognized Williams for performing well beyond her Pro Bono commitment. In addition, she received the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s 2018 Bucks County Pro Bono Award and the Bucks County Bar Association’s 2018 Arthur B. Walsh, Jr. Pro Bono Publico Award.

Shari holds her undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University. She attended Whittier College School of Law in Los Angeles, CA, where she was the editor of the Law School newspaper - The Barrister.

Shari holds licenses in Pennsylvania, Florida, and inactively in North Carolina. She is admitted to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Southern District of Florida, and Middle District of Florida.

Williams has been a presenter for continuing legal education classes for lawyers in Pennsylvania, Florida, and North Carolina. Her presentations covered protection from abuse/PFA, dependency case planning, juvenile defense, hurricane preparedness, and domestic violence representation.

Outside of the law office, Shari enjoys spending time with her family. Shari lives in Holland, PA with her husband and four dogs, Rose, Moose, Indie & Dolly. Her son is currently studying at West Chester University while her daughter studies at Penn State.

Shari is active in the Bucks County Bar and PA Bar Association as a Family Lawyers Division Council member. Shari volunteers at Ohev Shalom in Richboro, PA. She has worked as a substitute teacher and high holiday leader for the last ten years and as their librarian for the past two years. Shari is an avid Philly sports fan and Penn State football fan.
