Overview

Abbey R. Lacheen is a 2000 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and a 2003 graduate of the Widener University School of Law. While in law school she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a finalist in the 2003 Delaware/Harrisburg Moot Court Competition. She was also a Certified Legal Intern in the Pennsylvania Civil Law Clinic, where she represented clients in court and advised on a variety of legal issues and a clerk for the Philadelphia firm, Batt & Gross. In 2008, Ms. Lacheen was recognized by the publishers of Philadelphia magazine and the Pennsylvania edition of Super Lawyers magazine as a “Rising Star,” an honor given to the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in the Commonwealth who are 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Ms. Lacheen was named in the “Workers’ Compensation” practice area. A member of both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars, Ms. Lacheen’s practice concentrates on the defense of New Jersey and Pennsylvania workers’ compensation matters on behalf of insurance companies, self-insured employers and third-party administrators.
