Jon Rubinstein represents individuals and families in complex catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. His practice includes matters involving product liability, workplace incidents, medical malpractice, asbestos and toxic exposure, and other serious negligence claims. He brings a broad litigation background and a focused commitment to helping clients pursue accountability after life-altering harm.
Before joining McEldrew Purtell, Jon practiced at a prominent plaintiffs’ firm in Philadelphia, where he handled a wide range of personal injury and wrongful death matters and secured multimillion-dollar recoveries for clients across the country. Earlier in his career, he worked at Sullivan & Brill in New York City, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury and civil rights litigation. He also served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York, where he represented City agencies and employees in tort matters.
Jon earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University in 2005 and his Juris Doctor from Cardozo School of Law in 2008, with a concentration in litigation. He also serves as a Judge Pro Tem and Arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
