Michael J. Alivernini - Philadelphia, PA

Michael J. Alivernini is a Partner in Chartwell's Philadelphia office. He is a graduate of Villanova University and Widener University School of Law. Mr. Alivernini is admitted to the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and District of Columbia Bars, the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Alivernini is co-author of an article entitled: Do Pennsylvania Lawyers Have an Ethical Duty to Advise Clients about ADR?

Mr. Alivernini practices in the areas of property, general liability and automobile liability defense; subrogation/recovery; surety and fidelity litigation; and first party property insurance coverage. Mr. Alivernini has represented clients in large loss property subrogation matters in which he has negotiated substantial recoveries and participated in numerous jury trials in securing favorable jury verdicts. In addition he has successfully defended his clients in personal injury and wrongful death claims arising out of premises liability and motor vehicle accidents. In 2010 and 2012, Mr. Alivernini was selected as a rising star in Philadelphia Magazine "Pennsylvania Super Lawyer - Rising Stars," a listing which includes the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in the Commonwealth who are 40 years of age or younger or have been practicing for less than 10 years.
