She has authored numerous Amicus briefs in Pennsylvania State and Federal Courts on issues involving insurance coverage, bad faith, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims and third party liability claims. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Middle and Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Ms. Tighe earned her Bachelor Science from the University of Scranton in 1994. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science. In 1997, she received her Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law. She was a member of the ATLA Trial Team.
An active member of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute (PDI), she currently serves as a Regional Director, Middle District-North. She is also a member of the Motor Vehicle, Insurance Coverage and Appellate Practice Committees. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel.
