Overview
Kim Zabroski dedicates her practice to representing self-insured employers and insurance companies in workers' compensation litigation. For more than 12 years, her practice has predominately involved representing airlines, for which she has handled hundreds of claims.
Kim frequently counsels and provides litigation support on issues relating to workplace injuries and claims for workers' compensation benefits. Her broad background in workers' compensation litigation has provided her with in-depth knowledge of a wide range of medical conditions, including:
- Toxic exposure/air quality injuries
- Repetitive trauma injuries
- Psychiatric and stress-related injuries
- Cardiac injuries
- Specific loss injuries
- General orthopedic conditions
Additionally, Kim has evaluated, tried and appealed a diverse range of cases before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, in state and federal courts and at the appellate level.
Kim served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Jeffrey J. Manning of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas from 1993 to 1996.
In law school, Kim was associate recent decisions editor of the Duquesne Law Review and had an article published in Volume 31 of that publication.
