State College Attorney Laura Robbins offers her clients empathy, knowledge, and experience. She strives to enable each of her clients to understand their case and have the necessary legal expertise supporting them when they need it most. She has been a practicing trial attorney in Pennsylvania since 2003 and has experience litigating in fifteen different counties throughout Central Pennsylvania.
Attorney Robbins is originally from Michigan. She attended Michigan State University and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She attended Wayne State University School of Law located in Detroit, Michigan, and earned her J.D. in 2002. She has been a Pennsylvania-licensed attorney since 2003.
Attorney Robbins founded Laura Robbins Law, LLC July 2011. Previously, she served as a staff attorney at MidPenn Legal Services from 2003 until 2011. She has also given presentations within the community on her areas of practice. She gave a presentation to the Centre County Bar Association on landlord/tenant law. She also served as a mock trial judge for the Dickinson School of Law and participated in judging high school mock trial competitions. She currently posts an online blog for the Centre Daily Times called 'Laura's Legal Pad'.
Attorney Robbins was a panelist speaker at the Dickinson School of Law for their Small Firm Workshop, held on October, 8, 2012.
From her office in downtown State College, Pennsylvania, Attorney Robbins focuses her practice on family law, divorce, child custody, powers of attorney and living wills, unemployment compensation, landlord/tenant law, and general civil litigation. As a divorced mother of two, Attorney Robbins is familiar with the divorce and custody process on a both a professional and personal level. She is also a certified foster parent. Attorney Robbins is happy to provide her legal expertise to clients throughout Central Pennsylvania.
