Joe, a Waynesboro native, earned his BS from Mount Saint Mary's University and his JD from Georgetown University. He served three years in the US Navy and achieved the rank of Lt.jg. Joe has practiced law for over 45 years, first as a trial lawyer with the New York Central Railroad, Michigan division. He returned home in 1969 to engage in the general practice of law. He has served as local counsel for Grove Manufacturing Co., Hess Manufacturing Co. and Frick Co. He practices mainly in the areas of estate planning, wills and probate. Joe has been a member of the board of directors of several charitable organizations, including Hearthstone, Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library and Waynesboro Area Human Services Center. Also, he served as a school board director for Waynesboro Area School District. He is a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and a past chairman of its Parish Council. Joe and his wife Vonnie reside in Waynesboro and have two adult children and three grandchildren.
