Verified ClientConsulted Law firm 2024-2025Was recommended by another attorney because he specializes in estate. I went to Mike and he said 3500 hundred should cover start to finish. I get an itimized list of charges, he charges 35 dollars an email, even if it was a one word reply. Insane amounts if you have to call and ask a question, and is dry and rude to boot. He sends me a bill for 7900 dollars MORE?! I said no, I agreed I would pay a little extra, but triple the amount I was quoted?! Unacceptable. Do NOT go here unless you’re able to be milked for every dollar and don’t care about throwing your hard earned money away. This is the absolute worst decision I have made in attorney ever. I could t have known it would have turned out this way, but I got hosed badly, don’t let them do it to you. I NEVER write reviews but I had to for this because this is nonsense and unacceptable practices for an attorney. They’re supposed to help you, not rob you and take advantage. If you have ANY other choices, go with that, because this place is terrible!

Verified ClientHired Law firm 2019We sought out Pam Yee to craft a real estate sales agreement in a no agency transaction. Pam's work was not only first rate, she went to considerable lengths to meet challenging deadline requirements. When I made barely reasonable requests, Pam was always gracious and up to the task. We are very grateful to Pam and will both use her services again if needed and recommend her without reservation to any readers here.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
