Consulted Attorney 2025In my opinion working with this attorney was one of the most awful and disappointing experiences ever. The minute you meet with him he starts to sell you dishonest litigation and will tell you what you want to hear until you leave their office. Then in my opinion they make their own decisions on the direction of your case without your input. The owner could not stop talking about the money he wanted from me. He really wanted to get my access to my trust account and like many other complaints they attain and drain your money. In my opinion I have never heard people talk so much about getting your money, even more than a bank. In my opinion I am a good Christain man and I am faithful to God and I believe in the Golden rule and that we should treat people like we want to be treated and I wish the owner would care about the golden rule too but in my opinion the golden rule to this owner is he who has the gold make the rules. Do you research before selecting an attorney because there are good people out there waiting to help you just need to sift through the bad ones to find the actual gems.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
