Hired Attorney 2018-2019

I retained Andrew Rundquist for the specific purpose of "only" negotiating a settlement with a 30-year-old debt. He negotiated the terms of $4,000 as payment in full and I paid the debt. Months later, he called "good news" the case is settled. " replied, "what case?" Apparently, Andrew Rundquist, filed a summons and complaint without my permission or foreknowledge, obtained a settlement of $9,555 and sent me a check $1,000. This is the most dishonest thing I have ever witnessed. Naturally, he has not returned my calls. I requested an accounting of the case and he is silent. I have heard from him at all. He took the money and ran off. Do not use this attorney.
