Overview
The legal process in Georgia is just that — a process, with its own mechanisms and idiosyncrasies. That is particularly true in rural areas like Darien and McIntosh County. Whether you are a local purchasing a home, or an out-of-state resident who faces criminal charges or a significant fine as a result of Georgia's "Super Speeder" law, the smart decision when you have a legal concern is to enlist the services of an experienced attorney who understands the intricacies of the system. Whether you are a local purchasing a home, or an out-of-state resident who faces criminal charges or a significant fine as a result of Georgia's "Super Speeder" law, the smart decision when you have a legal concern is to enlist the services of an experienced attorney who understands the intricacies of the system. I am Ashley Miles, a Darien lawyer who is committed to producing effective legal representation in a client-friendly environment.
I am a Darien native who represents individuals in a broad range of criminal defense matters, as well as real estate issues and other civil issues. I have worked in southeast Georgia since earning my law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law in 2009. I handled civil litigation and misdemeanor criminal defense cases for a Brunswick law firm before returning to Darien in 2013 to start my own practice.
In a relatively short amount of time, I have established a strong reputation among judges, prosecutors, local commissioners and other important figures who handle both criminal and civil matters. I work to resolve legal issues efficiently and cost-effectively. In many misdemeanor criminal cases — speeding, DUI, possession of drugs, etc. — I am able to resolve matters without requiring my out-of-state clients to return to the state.
I welcome the opportunity to review your legal needs and recommend an effective course of action. By reducing criminal charges, I have saved a number of clients a significant amount of money in fines, increased auto insurance rates and other expenses. I handle criminal misdemeanor cases on a flat fee basis, so my clients know the cost of my services upfront. I can answer your questions during a free consultation, either in my Darien office or on the phone. Call 912-289-0566.
