New London Personal Injury Law Firm
Overview
In September of 1962, Kevin W. Conway and Francis T. Londregan formed a partnership for the practice of law. Since that date, Conway & Londregan has established a broad and extensive base of loyal clientele, with attorneys who dedicate themselves to the delivery of quality professional services within reasonable fee structures.
The firm departmentalizes practice areas, with each attorney focusing on select practice areas. Since some practice areas of our attorneys overlap, we are able to handle complex matters such as complex litigation and commercial transactions. We have an extremely well trained and dedicated staff of paralegals who assist the attorneys in handling both simple and complex matters. We employ the latest technology to give our clients the highest quality legal services available.
Clients range in size from individuals and small businesses to municipalities, large corporate lending institutions, and large corporations. Regardless of the client size, personal attention is the firm's hallmark. Conway & Londregan possesses the experience and expertise to address complex legal problems through various specialized departments.
Our attorneys have been involved in some of the most significant legal issues in Connecticut. We often handle high-profile cases that have been reported nationally and internationally. Our attorneys have successfully argued cases at the Connecticut Appellate Court, Connecticut Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
The firm believes in the importance of giving back to the community that supports it. To this end, the firm contributes freely and willingly to the community in many ways. It delivers pro-bono services when warranted. The members of the firm are actively engaged in several non-profit organizations including, but not limited to, Mystic Community Center, Mystic and New London Lion's Clubs, New London Rotary Club, American Red Cross, YMCA, American Cancer Society, Saint Bernard High School, New London Public Library, Garde Arts Center, Habitat for Humanity, Housing Opportunities for People, Inc. (HOPE), Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut, Catholic Charities, Chamber of Commerce, and Three Rivers College Foundation.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
