Meet Attorney Cotton
Daimeon Cotton earned his Juris Doctor degree at Wayne State University Law School and a Master's degree in Dispute Resolution at Wayne State University in Detroit. Licensed to practice in all Michigan courts and before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, Attorney Cotton also holds a Certificate of Training in Civil Court Mediation and belongs to the following professional organizations:
- Wolverine Bar Association
- Institute of Continuing Legal Education - New Lawyers Advisory Board
- Institute of Continuing Legal Education - Business Law Advisory Board
Mr. Cotton is active in the community. He served on the Board of Trustees for Crossroads of Michigan. He received a Certificate of Recognition from Michigan Community Resources for Outstanding Service and Dedication as part of the Nuisance Abatement Team. Mr. Cotton has written several articles on employment and business law that were published by a local Detroit business newspaper.
Mr. Cotton has been named a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers consecutively in 2017 and 2018. Only 2.5 % of the attorneys in Michigan are selected for this award. He was recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 attorney in 2016 and 2017.
