I had received LTD benefits for six years from First Reliance, before being dropped by them. I worked primarily with Nina, there were others that were involved and helpful with my claim. My claim did not take years to take to settle. I am a personal injury paralegal and their timeline for closure is one of the best. Nina is very articulate, prompt, and all around personable.

Nina and her team were incredibly helpful from the very beginning! She thoroughly reviewed my case, all my notes, all the documentation (which was a lot, at least, to me), and helped me understand everything. She and her team were extremely communicative which is important to me. This review may be long, but my situation and Dabdoub's performance warrants this review. You work your whole life to take care of those you love. When you are unable to work due to a health condition, you depend on your disability insurance benefits to help you through those very difficult times. When I found myself in that situation, the unthinkable happened. After months of struggling with my condition and gathering all of the documentation (documents were completed by my doctor and surgeon as required) that CIGNA said I needed to be approved for my Short Term Disability, I was denied the benefits that I was entitled to under my compensation package with my employer. I was already suffering tremendously from my severe condition, and now on top of that I had no finances coming in to carry us through. On top of that, CIGNA would not approve the surgery that I needed for my condition. This had a devastating blow on not only me but my wife and my children. For the first time in our lives we were in great financial despair and began to have mental meltdowns. I had nowhere to turn. I begged my employer for help. They sent me back to CIGNA, Needless to say I got nowhere. They told me that I could file an appeal if i didn't agree with their decision. I began to seek legal help. I found no one local. Then I came across Dabdoub law firm when searching the web. Their firm stood out to me above the others. I gave them a call. The are very aggressive and timely. I think their fees are a little bold. For my case they sent in two papers. And are making out with 35 percent of my back pay. I was so stressed out at contract signing I never thought about this.

Once you get hurt at work and you have all that time on your hand you can do more and more research on other cases because you have the time and you see how many failures. I was represented by Ms. Burgos. She always kept me up to date on my case. If I had questions she would return my call or email promptly. It was a long process, which she told me it would be, but, in the end I fell she advised me on making the best decision.

This firm is a complete joke. We signed with former attorney Patrick who was great, but he left the firm and we got stuck with Eddie. Do not allow Eddie to lead your case. He is not suited to manage a local Burger King let alone a case that could decide your future. Always “out of the country,” says one thing and does the other, will blame any and everything instead of himself, portrays a “I’m right you’re wrong” attitude and is a skilled fear-tactic mongrel who will take advantage of situations and put one into positions you should never be in. If you are looking for an attorney who is always late, out of the country and unavailable 80% of the time, attorney with the temperament in comparison of a third grader who just dropped his juice box, and an attorney who makes grammatical errors that a freshmen in college would be ashamed of, then this firm and Eddie is for you.
