Virginia Beach Family Law Firm
Overview
Davis Law Office handles family law issues for clients in Virginia Beach and throughout Tidewater Virginia, as well as the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I bring 25 years of experience to cases involving divorce, property division, child custody, child support, spousal support/ alimony, domestic violence and more.
I am trained in collaborative law and encourage my family law clients to consider this and other alternatives to litigation, which can be costly and emotionally draining. Ultimately, I strive to do what is best for those I represent based on their unique circumstances and goals.
My clients benefit from having an attorney who grew up in the area, built her law practice locally and knows the community. Prior to moving here with my family, my Marine Corps father’s career saw me living throughout the country. I attended seven elementary schools in six years. I have firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by military families, knowledge that has proven beneficial in the many military divorce cases I have handled.
On a personal level, I take pride in helping people inside the courtroom and out. Among my various community activities, I serve on the board of Samaritan House, a local nonprofit dedicated to ending domestic violence and homelessness.

Like most trial attorneys, I enjoy litigation and the strategy of the courtroom. Most of my clients, however, do not enjoy litigation. It can tear apart families and create wounds that take years to heal, if they ever do.
