The Immigration Law Group at Dean Mead represents investors, intracompany transferees, extraordinary-ability professionals, athletes, artists, scientists and other skilled foreign professionals and their U.S. employers in navigating the often-complex process of U.S. immigration and/or naturalization. The group is chaired by Catherine Henin-Clark, who is among a select number of Florida lawyers practicing in the immigration field today who are board certified in immigration and nationality law by the Florida Board of Legal Specialization and Education.
Dean Mead's Immigration Law Group handles all types of employment-based visa applications, including E, H, L, O, P and R nonimmigrant visas, and EB-1, EB-2, PERM and EB-3 employment-based immigrant applications. The group represents investors from all continents with the EB-5 (direct and regional centers) immigrant investor visa process. The group also counsels U.S. employers in connection with immigration-related regulatory compliance proceedings (employment eligibility verification, I-9 audits and E-Verify) to ensure good-faith compliance with all applicable immigration laws.
Often involved in humanitarian cases, including I-601 waivers and 212d(3) waivers, the group advocates on behalf of individuals who face removal proceedings before the immigration court. Dean Mead's Immigration Law Group successfully represents individuals in family-related matters and naturalization applications. The attorneys also work closely with clients engaged in emerging and often emotionally charged issues involving marriages, immigration equality and the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.
