As a Public Defender in Philadelphia for almost ten years, our Managing Partner, Ronald Greenblatt, gained the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully litigate some of the city’s most highly publicized cases. While there, he was fortunate to have met a group of individuals who eventually formed the core of GPFF. All of our named partners are attorneys who were once Philadelphia Public Defenders and all of our senior attorneys are skilled at trying civil and criminal cases in any courtroom. We are trial lawyers. When a client’s cause needs to be presented in a court of law, we never back down. Through the combined experience of the attorneys at GPFF, we have tried thousands of cases to a verdict, in both jury and non-jury trials.
In addition to this core element of former public defenders and prosecutors, our firm is comprised of a group of attorneys who are leaders in their specialized fields of law. Patricia Pierce and Julie Uebler are two of the most successful and widely respected employment lawyers in the United States. For over a decade, James Funt has consistently won some of the area’s most high profile criminal cases. Peter Vaira is the former United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and an accomplished white collar defense attorney. Len Baker, Director of our New Jersey offices, is the former Director of Litigation at the Camden County Public Defender Office, a New Jersey Certified Criminal Attorney who has taught at Rutgers Law School for over 25 years, and one of New Jersey’s top attorneys.
