For more than 20 years, Mr. Hitt has been helping families through the difficult processes of divorce, adoption, child support, child custody and visitation as well as spousal support. Board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Hitt is able to provide clients advice and representation in divorces involving high net worth individuals, complex property situations, business valuations, pre-marital agreements (also known as "pre-nuptial agreements"), as well as divorces and modifications in which assets, child custody, relocation, or parenting time is in dispute. Our office is equipped to assist clients in matters of estate planning, wills and probate, and provides referrals in personal injury, business litigation, and other areas of law.
Since 2009, Mr. Hitt has provided mediation services in cases where both parties are represented by attorneys. He completed the 40 hour mediation training at the University of Texas Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution in 2009.
