Our criminal defense lawyers and DWI attorneys are all former Tarrant County criminal prosecutors who have handled thousands of criminal and DWI charges and more than 200 combined jury trials ranging from misdemeanor offenses (DWI, theft, assault and marijuana charges), to serious felony charges (felony DWI, drug and possession charges, white collar theft charges, gun charges, sex crimes and murder).
Managing Partner Bryan Hoeller is a former prosecutor and has been named a Texas Super Lawyer for 2023 by Thomson Reuters. She is a former DWI prosecutor in Tarrant County. Dustin Trammel is a former Tarrant County prosecutor and is a Veteran of the US Army. We offer free initial consultations for pending Tarrant County cases at Hoeller McLaughlin PLLC, where we will review your case and discuss with you the best options moving forward. We recognize that while some criminal cases may share similarities, no two are the same. For this reason, we tailor our approach and strategy to your unique situation to help minimize the collateral effects of your arrest. Our goal is to protect your freedom and to protect your future.
Our previous experience in criminal prosecution provides our criminal lawyers with unique insight into law enforcements’ investigative and legal strategies. We draw on this knowledge to help us pursue a dismissal, a no bill, a reduction in charge or a favorable plea deal. Having vast knowledge of criminal laws, police procedures and forensic evidence, we work hard to build the perfect defense that stands up to the prosecution and helps protect your rights.
We also help clients pursue one of the many diversion programs in Tarrant County, which allows for a criminal case to be dismissed and expunged. These programs are designed to help young offenders, first-time drug offenders, first responders (EMS, Fire, Police) and former and current military members whose criminal charge is linked to their previous military experience (PTSD, depression, mental health, substance abuse, etc.).
