College Station Family and Probate Attorney

Overview

The College Station Law Office of Randy Michel provides comprehensive representation for challenging family law, probate and business litigation issues. Our attorneys focus substantial time, talent and energy on helping Texas clients pursue and obtain favorable outcomes to their cases. We also understand the immediate and collateral costs of litigation. We provide honest, straightforward evaluations and estimates. We are dedicated to providing exceptional client service.

FORMER JUDGE — DEDICATED ATTORNEY AND MEDIATOR

Our legal team is directed by College Station civil trial attorney Randy Michel, who has more than 33 years of experience. His unique background includes:

  • Seven years as a judge
  • More than 26 years as a board certified trial attorney
  • Nearly 23 years as a certified mediator

His extensive legal experience enables him to evaluate every aspect of clients' cases to determine the best course of action, whether it is mediation, litigation or trial. When litigating or taking cases to trial, he leverages his diverse experience to anticipate how opposing counsel and judges may approach cases.

As a skilled certified mediator, Mr. Michel understands the benefits that may be achieved through mediation. Often mediation can resolve disputes with less time and expense than litigation. Additionally, clients may have more control over the outcome of their cases with a collaborative approach. Once a business litigation, probate or family law matter goes to trial, it is decided by a judge or possibly 12 members of the jury chosen at random from the community.

COMPREHENSIVE REPRESENTATION

Lawyers with the Law Office of Randy Michel understand that divorce and business litigation consume three primary aspects of an individual's life: time, money and emotional energy. The intense emotional hardships associated with lawsuits stay with individuals all day, every day until the case is resolved. We strive to obtain the best possible outcome with minimum consequences.
