Lakeland Agricultural Law Firm
Overview
Martin Law office is a continuation of a family of Florida lawyers that spans four generations. Our practice focus’s upon agricultural and environmental litigation. This translates into lawsuits involving land, livestock, plants or other property rights. This year we’ve worked on matters for clients involving flooding, crop insurance, defective seeds, NAD appeals of land benefits, fertilizer injury to citrus, herbicide drift onto crops causing harm, and a host of others.
We don’t represent persons in a vacuum. Law is compartmentalized. If our specialty can handle your case we do so. If not, we associate other lawyers who are competent and respected in their fields. We have been privileged to work with lawyers in numerous towns across America. We have advocated for clients before courts and Juries in federal and state venues, including the writing of briefs for presentation to the US Supreme Court.
Persons accumulate accolades and plaques as time goes by. The most important one to us came after 3 years of intense litigation of chemical injury to plants in south Florida. An e-mail from an opponent said in part: “I have never seen the professionalism that you have displayed in this case.---You did so with a level of integrity and honor which I have never seen before—I now have a new standard for the practice of law. Thank you for your integrity.”
Michael Martin’s legal thriller “The Crestfallen Rose” is an excellent introduction to the intense world of litigation.
You have many alternatives. We are honored when anyone asks for help from our firm.
