Phoenix Divorce Law Firm
Overview
Since 1995, Michael Shew and his team have represented hundreds of individuals in complex and simple family court cases. We have the experience you need to achieve a favorable outcome in your family court case. We are settlement-oriented and work hard to find creative solutions to resolve disputes amicably and cost-effectively. We also understand what is necessary to achieve the best possible outcome at trial if settlement is not possible.
Michael Shew is one of about 80 attorneys in Arizona who has been certified by the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in family law. An attorney has to complete a rigorous application and written examination to demonstrate substantial involvement in family law over a period of years in order to become certified as a family law specialist.
Michael Shew has been recognized by the Supreme Court of Arizona for his work with a volunteer program that assisted litigants representing themselves in family court proceedings. Michael Shew continues to volunteer with this program and from time to time works on family court cases pro bono. Michael Shew has also submitted articles to a family law newsletter and was a member of a State Bar committee that implemented the Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure.
When necessary, we work with a network of behavioral health professionals, financial experts, mediators and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcome.
