One focus of our law firm is annexation. For decades, we have litigated municipal annexation cases. Throughout Mississippi we represent municipalities, both those seeking to expand and those opposing another city’s annexation effort. We also represent individuals who oppose annexation. No matter which side our clients are on, our goal is to protect their rights.
Additionally, we practice municipal and governmental law. We serve as general counsel for the cities of Byram and Ridgeland, and we advise these municipalities on myriad issues, including zoning and planning, eminent domain, elections, police and fire department issues, drafting ordinances, and much more. We have also represented other cities, such as Diamondhead, Meridian, and Hattiesburg as special counsel in various issues like utility rate disputes and redistricting and voting rights.
