My husband and I were going through a hard time and filed for divorce. I recently found out he referred to me as a “defective” person. If you look up the definition it is an outdated term to refer to the mentally ill. My cousin has Down’s syndrome and I am very disgusted Nick Rice used the offensive term. He doesn’t know the correct definition or that it is considered wrong and offensive to those with mental disabilities or illness. He was an extremely nasty individual who seemed to enjoy watching a family fall apart.

I spoke to Larry at length today regarding the legality of on line certified people performing marriages. He told me that they are not recognized in TN but an easy fix is to have Rent a Minister or Ministers in a Minute come and make it official. There are also non ministerial folks like Judges who legally marry people in TN. He was kind and took all the time in the world discussing this with me. A-1 Service and A+ rating from me.
