Meet Our Law Firm's Partners
Neil S. Shankman opened the first legal clinic in the state of Maine in 1981. Having earned his Juris Doctor at Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio, he relocated to Maine and became a member of the Maine State Bar Association. He has developed one of the largest bankruptcy practices in Maine and also focuses on landlord-tenant matters, both in court and as general counsel to the Maine Real Estate Managers Association. He serves on the board of directors of "Kids First," an organization dedicated to helping parents through the process of divorce without ever forgetting that "it is your divorce, not theirs."
Rebecca V. Brochu earned her Juris Doctor at Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. She is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the Bath-Brunswick Bar Association. She focuses on bankruptcy and domestic relations law and is currently state chair for the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
Aubrey A. Russell earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Maine School of Law in Portland. She is admitted to practice in both Maine and Vermont and concentrates her practice in family law and landlord-tenant matters and assisted in establishing the Maine Alliance for Drug Treatment Courts.
