At the end of Dec. 2021 I called several tax attorneys for free consultations. At Silver Tax Group I got Korey Waggoner. He immediately disclosed he was not a tax attorney but he helped us IMMENSELY. We're seniors and we never felt rushed, intimidated, or talked down to. Korey rapidly went through a mental options flowchart. Of note: tho I also talked to people at three other services announcing themselves as tax attorneys, NOT ONE seemed to know the field as well as Korey. Attorney Silver and his Firm really were great to work with under very stressful conditions. They did not sugar coat my problem at all. At the time I had let it taxes go so long there was lien and bank accounts being hit by the IRS. I had a very "crass" IRS Agent who had a even more "crass" Manager (remove the "cr" and you know what I mean). I felt bad calling Silver because the I just let this go for years and years and years never filing taxes. They did what they said which was to get some breathing room between my family and the IRS.
