Michael has the patience of a saint and the skills and knowledge of a genius. My fiance was facing 37 years and 2 months on some pretty serious charges. From the minute I called Michael, he made sure not on,y my fiance understood completely but that I did as well. I have alot of anxiety and I wasn't going to stop checking and rechecking laws n no matter how insanely annoying I was with Michael with my constant emails, fone calls and text messages, he always reassured me and took the stress off me as well as my fiance. Michael has become a very special friend to our family. My hubby to be ended up with 13.5 years bcuz Michael fought the system on his career criminal status and now I will have my hubby to be home in 8.5 years alive instead of never getting out unless in a pine box. Thank you Michael, you are thee best and worth every penny we paid you!

Mr.Goldberg represented me and knew exactly what to do. He was straight forward with the whole process. I felt confident he would represent me well, and thats what he did. I felt comfortable talking to him as he guided me through the case. He promised to help with my expungement process, and he kept that promise years later. Now I can proudly say my expungement was granted thanks to Michael Goldberg. I am truly grateful and wish him continuous success. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for an expert attorney who will represent them the right way.

It would be an understatement to say that this firm and in particular Michael Goldberg are simply the best at what they do. I would trust my life with Micheal Goldberg he is that good. "Simply the best" . I faced insurmountable odds and yet Micheal Goldberg persevered relentlessly and convinced the judge to essentially dismiss my case. I don't believe any other lawyer could have obtained this positive a result I highly recommend this firm and Michael Goldberg.

Michael Goldberg is an outstanding attorney. His knowledge and expertise is hands down the best in North East Ohio. He represented my friend on serious drug charges 3 times and the outcome was successful.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
