I work with my clients to develop a solid criminal defense to the charges they face, which may include pursuing a plea agreement or a dismissal of the charges or seeking an acquittal at trial.
Prior to founding my law office, I served with the U.S. Department of Justice for 16 years in the positions of a civil litigator and then a criminal prosecutor. In my years bringing cases on behalf of the Federal Trade Commission, I gained valuable insight into how the government oversees, regulates and pursues such cases. I use my knowledge and experience in my private practice to help clients achieve resolutions to all types of business, consumer protection, administrative and legal malpractice issues. I also handle cases involving military-related matters, government agencies and programs, and government contracts.
At the Law Office of Mark L. Josephs LLC, I also have experience dealing with health care law-related cases. Familiar with the ins and outs of the health care statutes and regulations, I aid clients with government enforcement activities, regulatory matters, professional disciplinary actions and civil litigation. I use alternative dispute resolution whenever possible to reduce the time and expense to my clients, but I am prepared to zealously pursue their rights in the courtroom if necessary.
