Worst experience EVER with an attorney! He tells you everything you want to hear, takes your money and disappears. His staff ignore you as well. He takes 3 week vacations for every holiday and can never be reached. After the consultation, I never heard from him until the day of my court date which I wasn?t sure he was even going to show up to. ACTUALLY, I went to have my court date pushed back because I thought he wasn?t showing up and the woman I spoke with told me he was already there for another case. Not sure if he even knew my court date was that day or if it was just a coincidence he happened to be there. He is a liar and could not care less about his clients. I am filing a complaint with the MS Bar Association because I pray no one else has to go through what I went through because of Stephen Maggio.

Lawyer neglected my matter. After months of no reply, was forced to release and seek new counsel. Will take your retainer and communicate on the front end and that will be the last you hear of him. Don't be fooled by his role as a judge in hancock county, means nothing. Not available for calls, does not respond to emails, consider your case lost. I was forced to file a complaint with the MS Bar Association.

Divorce is stress especially when one doesn?t understand the legal system. The staff is always helpful and will do their best to keep one at ease. Mr Maggio will be most involved in the beginning and the end of the process. He is always available for consultation but be cognizant that after the first initial consultation one will be billed. That?s why the staff is so helpful in getting answers without taking up Mr Maggio?s valuable time. It?s important to understand that until both sides are willing to talk or it goes to court that there?s little Mr Maggio can do. Be patient. Trust him and his staff. Do your part when asked. Have faith in his abilities. Mr Maggio is maybe the best attorney on the coast!
