The primary firm focus is on the representation of individuals in employment matters. We have represented individuals on wage and hour issues, such as misclassification as an independent contractor, unpaid overtime or minimum wage claims, breach of contract claims, non-compete agreements and litigation, and failure to pay agreed upon salary or benefits.
The firm also handles gender, age, race, pregnancy, and disability discrimination charges and litigation. We have litigated qui tam (whistleblower) suits and can help you if you believe that you are being coerced to participate in illegal activities in your employment, such as defrauding the government. In addition, we have represented clients with FMLA claims and sexual harassment cases. We also handle administrative matters, such as unemployment appeals, DOE matters, and professional licensing board defense (nursing, pharmacy).
Young Law Office, P.C. handles many probate estate matters each year. If you are a Personal Representative of the estate, an heir, or a family member who believes that the estate is not being handled properly, contact our office. We have handled will contests and intestate disputes. If you need important personal legal documents, such as a Last Will and Testament, General Power of Attorney, Power of Attorney for Healthcare and master HIPAA releases, please call us for information. If you have a family member who needs a conservatorships because of losing the ability to control legal or financial matters alone, we can assist you in seeking the court's appointment as a conservator.
