Tally reprevents the absolute best in representation. She is incredibly responsive, honest and had my best interest in mind at all times. Being in recovery from substance abuse disorder I found her concern and understanding extremely refreshing. There was no judgement. I can't recommend her strongly enough.

I owe Tally Zuckerman my life, literally. I was a juvenile when I was sentenced to life without parole for 1st degree murder. I had exhausted all of my appeals except for my 35(c) when I had been granted a lawyer for my hearing. To be honest I wasn’t getting my hopes up because I had several different appellate lawyers and think I had only seen one of them in person before I had received Tally. It seemed as if most only did the bare minimum that was required of them. When Tally got assigned to my case, she drove 2 1/2hrs out to the prison to see me. We talked for several hours going over multiple scenarios and she included me every step of the way in making decisions for my case. When I didn’t understand, she would stay with me until I did. I could tell by our first conversation that she had spent countless hours reading my discovery and trial transcripts. I even found myself quizzing her to see if she really had or was she just saying that to make me feel better as many had before her. I quickly found out she knew my case better than I did. Every move that we made in my case was calculated. I felt for the first time in my life that I had a chance. Tally was able to bring forth new evidence in my case which eventually opened up the prison doors for me after 24 ½ years. Tally had finally proven what others failed to even listen too, my innocence on the charge of 1st degree murder. I was re-sentenced and on November 2nd, 2018, those prison doors finally opened and I returned to the world. Tally and I definitely had our struggles, she believed in the system and believed in herself that she was going to get me out of prison. We used to go back and forth but because of the woman she is, I had deep respect for her and I knew that nobody in this world was fighting or would fight as hard as she did for me. When we would lose a motion, she would take it as personal as I would and come back stronger. She made me believe in a system that told me I was worthless and my life had no meaning. Is it perfect, absolutely not, however she inspired me so much and helped not only save my life but mold me into the man that I am today.

This is the best law firm I have had experience with. They care about the people they represent and do so excellently. LGBTQ+ ally all the way.

I know it can be hard to pick a lawyer, but I want to try to help anyone who is in the same boat I was. After using a few different law firms I was so dissatisfied with the way in which my cases were handled. I finally found Tally and she absolutely changed my opinion of what a lawyer can (and should) be. First off, her attention to detail is impeccable. Second, her promptness to timelines and responsiveness to my questions and concerns was outstanding.
