She has also worked side by side with Attorney Gregory Miller on protecting employee’s rights through various employment laws including Title VII and State Discrimination laws, The Family Medical Leave Act, Federal Labor Standards Act, State and Federal Whistleblower claims, Unpaid Wage claims, and OSHA retaliation.
As employment laws are very complex, Amanda has used this vast experience to develop special legal knowledge and a keen ability to research challenging areas of the law. She also has a superior talent for legal writing skills. In 2010, she attended Southern University Law Center full time while still employed at the firm.While in law school, Amanda received a CALI Excellence Award for Legal Research and Advanced Legal Writing.
Amanda was admitted to practice law in the State of Louisiana in May of 2014.
