Additionally, Ms. Phillips was a clerk in the Homelessness Prevention Law Project and Juvenile Hall Project at Public Counsel.
Ms. Phillips received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she graduated summa cum laude. At UCLA, Ms. Phillips was both a Regents Scholar and Gold Shield Alumni Association Scholar.
During law school, Ms. Phillips was the President of the UCLA School of Law Moot Court Honors Board and a member of the Moot Court Honors Program, Co-Chair of the Juvenile Hall Clinic, Co-Chair of the Innocence Project, Managing Editor of the Women's Law Journal, and a Writing Advisor for the Lawyering Skills Clinical Program.
