Overview
André is a partner with the firm and has a varied litigation practice with extensive trial experience in state and federal courts. He has significant trial experience in commercial auto liability, premises liability, insurance coverage, medical malpractice and insurance-related litigation. André has also tried cases involving toxic tort, wrongful death and survival claims. He regularly counsels foreign and surplus line insurers regarding litigation matters. André also has experience with admiralty and maritime litigation issues, including defense of claims under the Jones Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act.
One of the two active litigators in the firm, André conducted two significant jury trials in 2019, one a wrongful death action tried in a Mississippi State Circuit Court in Pascagoula, both resulting in zero, plaintiff-takes-nothing verdicts.
