In 1994, Mr. Coffman merged his practice with a colleague from law school to form Pankey, Coffman & Horlock in Decatur, Georgia. While at PCH, he focused heavily on employment and civil rights litigation for eight years prior to joining Parks, Chesin & Walbert . Mr. Coffman is an experienced trial lawyer admitted to practice in all Georgia state and appellate courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia and the Middle District of Georgia and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Coffman’s trial and litigation experience includes: employment discrimination, civil rights, criminal law, contract law, copyright infringement and personal injury law. He has secured jury verdicts and numerous out-of-court settlements for clients in cases ranging from police brutality to wrongful termination.
Mr. Coffman is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the DeKalb Bar Association, where he serves on the Board of Governors.
His interests include restoring his 100 year old home, perpetually training for the Peachtree Road Race and learning to be a father to his new son, David. Mr. Coffman stays involved in the community through the Georgia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts and as an active member of his Inman Park neighborhood, where he lives with his son and his wife, Alexandra.
