For Arthur Calderon, he always knew that he was going to end up in the Mississippi Delta. A native of Savannah, Georgia, even though Arthur spent much of childhood traveling with his parents (his father was in the military), he always considered the Delta a place that he could call home.

For Arthur Calderon, he always knew that he was going to end up in the Mississippi Delta. A native of Savannah, Georgia, even though Arthur spent much of childhood traveling with his parents (his father was in the military), he always considered the Delta a place that he could call home.
Arthur attended Mississippi State University, where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. After graduating from MSU, Arthur made his way to New York and Kansas City, where he worked in business management in the entertainment industry, and then returned to Mississippi to attend law school at Mississippi College School of Law.
At MC Law, Arthur began developing his trial skills by participating in several moot court competitions throughout the country, earning recognition at each one, including the prestigious Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition. Based on his advocacy skills and reputation for excellence, Arthur was selected for the National Order of Barristers in his final year of law school. Outside of the classroom, Arthur continued to develop his advocacy skills while pursuing his passion for helping others. After graduating with honors from law school, Arthur became the staff attorney at Mission First Legal Aid Office in Jackson, Mississippi. After working in Jackson for several years, he then accepted a clerkship with Senior Circuit Court Judge Albert B. Smith, III, where he assisted the Court in all cases in Bolivar, Coahoma, Tunica, and Quitman Counties.
