Overview
Aure focuses his practice on commercial bankruptcy and insolvency matters. He has represented parties in all phases of bankruptcy proceedings. Past clients include corporate and high net worth individual debtors, secured creditors and bankruptcy trustees. Aure has successfully defended preference and fraudulent transfer defendants in litigation and drafted winning bankruptcy appeals to the United State District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Client focused and conscientious of the nuances of each matter, Aure often resolves insolvency related matters outside of court, recognizing that, while a bankruptcy filing is a potent measure, it is simply not the most appropriate tactic in every case.
