I am a Founding Member of The Arizona DUI Team; and have been solely defending DUI Defense cases for the past 18+ years; having PERSONALLY defended more than 4,100 DUI cases in Arizona.

I am rated 10-out-of-10 on AVvo.com; 4.9-out-of-5.0 on Martindale Hubbell; recipient of the SuperLawyers Southwest Rising Star Award for five years in a row; named one of the Top Lawyers in 2013, and 2017 - 2022 by North Valley Magazine; named one of the Top 100 Lawyers by Arizona Finest Lawyers; acknowledged as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer Nationally by National Trial Lawyers, previously named one of Arizona's Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 by both National Trial Lawyers and American Society of Legal Advocates, named one of the Top 10 DUI Lawyers in Arizona by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and named one of the Nation's Top One Percent of Lawyers by National Association of Distinguished Counsel.

In 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, I was named one of less than ten Super Lawyers in DUI Defense amongst all attorneys in Arizona and New Mexico. In 2022, I was the only DUI Defense Lawyer in the United States featured as a ‘Power Lawyer' in USA Today.

However, I pride himself on being the ‘Best Value in the State' when it comes to DUI Defense Representation, due to my years of experience, sole focus on DUI Defense, and what I charge for my representation. I have created a type of contract that I call Bifurcated Representation, which results in my clients paying reasonable flat fee payments, only for the services that they need, and not for the services that they don't. I don't charge my clients for busy work, and proudly use the motto, "Hire Any Other Lawyer, and You Will Pay A Lot More Money and/or Get A Lot Less Experience."

If you or a family member has been charged with a DUI offense in Maricopa County, Arizona, Feel free to call or text me on my personal cell phone: 480-720-7839 to schedule a Free 'In Depth' Consultation.

On March, 5, 2014 I was charged with four aggravated DUIs and was given a court appointed attorney lawyer. She was a private lawyer with a government contract, and did not care about me or my case one bit. She was very unprofessional, would not hear me out on my case, disregarded my family when I tried to introduce her to them, and without notice did not show up to a court date. She advised me to plead to a felony with 4 months jail without even investigating my case. I did not agree with my court appointed lawyer, and I sought out a second opinion from different attorney. I was referred to Brian Sloan. He was very professional from the start; took the time to hear and understand my case to then discover that I was not given an appropriate plea that was suitable due to my circumstances. He was very interested in helping me because I was given ineffective assistance from my court appointed lawyer. He said to me that he could not just sit back and watch me take a felony when clearly I should not be. Mr. Sloan took on my case, thoroughly went through my case with me and explained my charges and the accurate consequences for my actions to better help my understanding of what I was in for. Unlike my court appointed lawyer, Mr. Sloan was very up front and precise with my case. In a week, he was able to carefully cross examine the case and reduced the felony plea from four months in jail, plus more, to a misdemeanor plea with thirty days in jail and work furlough. I am very considerate and thankful to the fact he took on my case because he wanted to make sure I was given honest representation. I definitely refer him to anyone facing a DUI.

Brian Sloan literally helped save my life. I was facing dui charges and loss of career, husband, liscence, I was facing jail time. Everything I knew to be real and true was hanging in the hands of the justice system. Brian was there for me every step of the way.even responding to texts about how scared and traumatized I was. Brian argued my case and won! All charges were DISMISSED!Brian knows Dui law more than any attorney out there. He believes in his clients. Thank you Brian for helping to save our family.

Mr. Sloan did an excellent job by guiding me through the entire criminal process, from initial consultation, all the way through the conclusion of my case. At each step, Brian clearly communicated all of my options, and offered his opinion on what he thought would be the best one. Mr. Sloan proved himself to be an intelligent and terrific litigator. His knowledge and comfort with DUI laws was a superior advantage in going through the process. From the very beginning Mr. Sloan told me that I was innocent. Although the prosecutor didn't agree, they were willing to offer a very beneficial plea agreement. Mr. Sloan recommended that we keep fighting, and he even did the trial for free because he so believed in my case. In the end, the jury came back NOT GUILTY on all counts. It was scary, but I rightfully put my trust into Brian. I cannot thank him enough.

I was wrongfully arrested, facing a lot of jail time, and Brian got the case DISMISSED! Brian Sloan literally helped save my life. I was arrested (wrongfully) and was facing time in jail, loss of driving, etc. Everything I knew and loved (my husband, my children, my career) was hanging in the hands of the justice system. Brian was there every step of the way, and was there via text, call, and e-mail, any and every time I needed him. (Even if it was to tell him I was terrified and that this was traumatic for my family). He called me at night, and when I didn't answer, he called me the following morning to tell me ALL CHARGES WERE DISMISSED. I still cannot believe this nightmare is behind our family, and I will be eternally grateful to Brian for this. He believed in me all along and was willing to fight for me the entire way.

5.0 out of 5 stars

If you were like me and you're anxiously searching for a DUI lawyer because you made a mistake, look no further. I want to personally thank Brian Sloan for getting me through my legal battle with my first DUI. I was 26 at the time, blew pretty high DUI in the state with the strictest DUI laws... and Attorney Sloan made the process so much easier. Basically, I got to take a back seat while he figured everything out for me. As a result, I ended up with most of my charges dropped, a discount on my legal fees, and a walk through of everything I have to do to make this process easier. He gave me very clear instructions on what to do, what to expect, and on what specific dates. If it wasn't for him, I'd probably be looking at 30 days in jail with 36 hours of counseling after it. With his services, I ended up in a much better position because of his instructions. - Tim L
