Overview
Charles has practiced as an attorney for more than twenty-five years and is certified through the Human Resources Certification Insitute. Mr. Goldstein has litigated issues before state agencies, District Courts throughout the metropolitan area and beyond, as well as the Minnesota Court of Appeals, Minnesota Supreme Court and the Federal District Court.
He has advised and represented clients pursuing and defending employment law claims, including wrongful termination, non-compete agreements, sexual harassment, age, disability, gender, race, and religious discrimination, defamation, whistleblower, overtime wages, professional misconduct, unemployment compensation, and other employment matters. Charles has continually maintained human resource processes to ensure that issues such as sexual harassment, unemployment claims, health insurance, unfair competition, and termination procedures were thoroughly addressed and resolved- thus having the dual perspective which is greatly advantageous in representing employment law plaintiffs.
Mr. Goldstein has published more than 20 articles in The Hennepin Lawyer on numerous areas of law and has been named to the Minnesota Super Lawyers list by Thomson Reuters (The Super Lawyers list recognizes no more than 5 percent of attorneys in each state).
Charles is also a mediator with twenty-five years of experience and has been trained through Supreme Court certified programs in facilitative, evaluative and transformative mediation. He promotes alternative dispute resolution methods for employment and other disputes as a means to achieve win-win solutions.
