Charlie Langton is an attorney with our firm and is a broadcaster at Fox 2 Detroit and WJR Radio. He has three decades of legal experience, and has tried many cases in areas of the law, including, car accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, and criminal cases.
His father was also a respected attorney in Michigan. Charlie graduated from Notre Dame High School and Kalamazoo College with a major in Theater.
Charlie graduated from Detroit College of Law, and ten years later, from Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. He hosted the Macomb Bar Association's cable television program and legal talk shows on radio.
He won four Emmys and three Wade McCree Jr. awards for excellence in legal journalism presented by the State Bar of Michigan. He has been honored by the Macomb County Bar Association for outstanding service and has been asked to speak at various legal and charitable events, as well as moderate numerous political debates.
Charlie handles many roles: FOX 2 legal analyst; a reporter; weekend morning anchor and also co-hosts "Let It Rip," "Let It Rip Weekend" and "Let it Rip On the Road."

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
