...More...David A. Yanoff was born and raised in Philadelphia. After attending the City's public schools and graduating from Central High School in 1979, he studied for a year at Boston University, then returned to the area to complete his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania. He graduating with a B.A. in political science in 1983. While attending law school at Temple University, David worked as a law clerk with the firm, and was hired as an associate upon graduating magna cum laude from Temple in 1987. David specializes in appellate practice. However, he has worked on numerous cases at the trial level involving medical malpractice, products liability, and many other areas of personal injury law. He has also handled a number of civil rights cases, including in particular cases of employment discrimination/ harassment. David's interests apart from the practice of law are varied. His lifelong love of languages was transformed into a more serious and practical pursuit, in the case of the Italian language, by the necessity of communicating with the family and friends of his wife, a native of Rome, and by the couple's desire to raise their daughter bilingually. His main outside area of interest is fiction writing. He has written a number of novels, one of which (thus far) has been published.
